Rosal SA. manufactures, through it’s sister company Mabrik, Pellet Mills applicable to a wide range of biomass.

Biomass pellets are obtained by the pressure of cylindrical rolls over the annular giratory inside die.

This precission forces biomass through a hole between 10 and 20 mm. At hole outlet biomass is compacted enough and pellet rises 40 – 50 mm. approx. length.

This process is much more exigent and delicate than milling or mixing. It has a high energy consumption due to by friction basically , biomass configuration is modified in a drastic way.

The capacity produced by the Pellet Mill could vary a lot, even more same product could have important changes depending on moisture level or grinding quality.

For example, 315 Kw Pellet Mill could produce till 3 Tn. of plastic waste. With regard to forest wastes, production could increase till 6 Tn/hour.
